The Digital Cinema Society (DCS), a nonprofit educational cooperative with an international membership nearing 4,000 has announced plans to present an event exploring proven techniques for perfected Blue and Green screen VFX Compositing.

Blue and Green Screen Compositing is scheduled for December 6th 2008 at Big Vision Studios, (58 E Santa Anita Ave, Burbank, CA 91502.) Noted Visual Effects Artist, Trainer, and Author Steve Wright**, will be joined by Ultimatte Guru Bob Kertesz, and other VFX experts, at a Digital Cinema Society educational event on the subject of Blue and Green Screen Compositing. This meeting will be of interest to Cinematographers, as well as anyone working in the Visual Effects arena including Editors, Post-production Supervisors, and Colorists. We will have practical demonstrations on the Big Vision Studios Green Screen stage and learn the dos and don’ts of delivering good elements for compositing, with expert tips on creating seamless VFX.
