Rules and Regulations for REEL IMPRESSIONS at the 2009 NAB Show

For consideration for inclusion in the REEL IMPRESSIONS Showcase at the 2009 NAB Show April 20-23 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev., submit a master copy of your reel—MUST BE EITHER 1920x1080i HDCAM (stereo) or 1920x1080i HDCAM-SR (stereo or 5.1)—along with a typed list of the camera formats and other hardware/software technology used to make the reel, your Reel-Exchange profile URL, and designate the showcase for which you would like to be considered: Cinematography, Editing/Visual Effects, Animation, or Student Work.

DEADLINE: February 27, 2009

*Reels longer than 3 minutes may be shortened as needed for display at the 2009 NAB Show.

*An accompanying Reel-exchange.com profile MUST be created and be published live to the REEL IMPRESSIONS affiliation page by February 27, 2009.

*A master copy of the high-res version of the reel must be received by February 27, 2009. (1920x1080i HDCAM (stereo) or 1920x1080i HDCAM-SR (stereo or 5.1))

*The REEL IMPRESSIONS showcase is open to all content creators who work with tools they purchased or were influenced to purchase at an NAB tradeshow or related event.

*Submitted demo reels will be posted and promoted on the NAB website, nabshow.com, and after the show at nab365.com.

*Reels with inappropriate content or technical problems will not be included in the showcase. Reels will be used in association with the REEL IMPRESSIONS showcase only. Reels cannot be returned.

*Reel Submissions for the REEL IMPRESSIONS Showcase follow the same Terms & Conditions as posted on Reel-exchange.com.

Go to: http://reel-exchange.com/register.html and use promo code REX009 (all caps, zero, zero, nine).

Add support@reel-exchange.com to your safe sender list, and watch for a verification email. Click that link, edit and modify your profile (don't forget to add "REEL IMPRESSIONS" to your Affiliations) and upload your reel, then hit the "publish" icon in the upper right portion of the "Edit My Profile" page to make your page go live.
