Call for Submissions: Your Work Shown at NAB

After a successful debut last year, REEL IMPRESSIONS 2009 will feature four different showcases: Cinematography, Editing/Visual Effects, Animation, and Student Work. More than 100,000 attendees from 167 countries will have the opportunity to see the incredible shots, cuts, and creations you have produced.

Submission Deadline: Friday, February 27, 2009

To submit your reel, you must first be a Reel-Exchange member. To establish your account, go to reel-exchange.com/register.html and register with the promo code REX009.

Once you have an account, or if you are already a member, select the “REEL IMPRESSIONS” affiliation designation to your Reel-Exchange profile. (Need Help? Email: support@reel-exchange.com)

For 24-ft Content Theater consideration:
Submit a master copy of your reel—PREFERRED FORMAT: 1920x1080i HDCAM (stereo) or 1920x1080i HDCAM-SR (stereo or 5.1) ACCEPTED FORMAT: HD Quicktime in Apple ProRes at 24fps (data disc)—along with a typed list of the camera formats and other hardware/software technology used to make the reel and your Reel-Exchange profile URL. Be sure to designate the showcase for which you would like to be considered: Cinematography, Editing/Visual Effects, Animation, or Student Work.

Mail that package to "REEL IMPRESSIONS," 330 N. Wabash Ave., Suite 2300, Chicago, IL 60611.

Reels longer than 3 minutes may be shortened as needed for display at the 2009 NAB Show.

For Online Showcase consideration:

In either case, you are encouraged to bug/watermark your reel with your company name and/or logo and city. It's not required, but it will help display and credit your work. Email your Reel-Exchange profile url to support@reel-exchange.com.

Submission Deadline:
