Ken Machacek is currently a full-time staff Final Cut Pro and Avid editor for the FOX News Channel. He is also the writer and producer "FOX News Gamers Weekly" (foxnews.com/gamersweekly), FOX News Mobile's most-watched video podcast. He also has extensive experience in web design, and helped in the design and creation of an iPhone-optimized FOXNews.com website - a first for any news organization. In addition, Ken has worked as a full-time freelance editor for the Center for Communication and edited many of their seminars for broadcast on MNN and NYC-TV. He has also been a freelance editor for Court TV and an assistant editor with Swete Post, a New York-based post-production facility. Lastly, he has edited numerous independent short films, and written and directed dozens of short films of his own that have been shown at festivals worldwide. He is proficient in Avid, Apple's Final Cut Pro, Motion, DVD Studio Pro, Shake, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and many more professional applications. He has designed the graphics and elements for numerous shows on broadcast television, and is, above all, a story-teller. Ken will be moving to the Los Angeles area in August 2008.
