I am currently a freelancer with a studio located in Washington DCs Adams Morgan district. In addition to freelancing, I am co-owner of a 5 year old animation company called Coolbeans Inc. Coolbeans creates a wide-range of art and animation for clients such as Discovery Channel, Smithsonian Channel, Animal Planet, National Geographic Channel, PBS, and the History Channel. Prior to this, I worked for the National Geographic Television Art Department for 10 years. In this position I became an accomplished artist and animator, developing elements for numerous Emmy award winning shows such as Explorer and Specials. Through 15 years of experience, I am skilled in all phases of animation production from concept to completion in both High and Standard Definition. Though I am proficient in most state-of-the-art tools, I primarily use Maya, Photoshop, and After Effects. However, I continuously seek out the right combination of tools and software to get a job done. Please take a moment to view samples of my work.
