In 2004, visual effects mastermind Jean-Marc Demmer and VFX executive producer Baptiste Andrieu decided to create a unique visual effects team based on eight principles of artistry and customer service. The result: Eight VFX - a company that brings chemistry, originality, and an uncompromised work ethic to the realm of post-production and visual effects. As senior visual effects artist of Eight, Demmer began acquiring his experience first as a freelance artist in Paris then as a supervisor at VTR in London, before joining Digital Domain in 2001 as a DFX supervisor. IN 2003, Demmer became VFX supervisor at Creocollective,alongside his soon to be partner, Eights executive producer, Andrieux. Prior to being head of production at Creocollective, Andrieux worked as a VFX producer for Digital Domain, Method, and Quad. Together, Demmer and Andrieux won the Clio Award for Adidas' "Robotic Legs" commercial by director David Fincher.
