Ray's Big Day

Ray's Big Day

Visual Effects Society founder, Tom Atkins, commissioned this short film for a tribute in honor of animation and visual effects icon Ray Harryhausen's 80th birthday. Presented alongside Ray's Big Day were short video tributes produced for this special occasion by effects luminaries Stan Winston, Rick Baker, Steve Spielberg, James Cameron, John Landis, George Lucas and Phil Tippet, among others. It was a night to remember for all involved. Thankfully, Ray loved the films!
