I'm half-way through my second year at the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield, England. I'm studying on the Master's degree in Editing course, and shall graduate in early 2009. Prior to joining the NFTS, I had worked as an editor, assistant and digitiser at various post and production companies after completing my degree in Archaeology at UCL. I still do digitising work overnight to help fund my degree and keep up to date with current broadcast technology. Whilst at film school, I've had the opportunity to edit fiction, documentary, animation and entertainment short films, and have been able to gain a deeper understanding of film, roles within the making of a film, and editing. Once I graduate, I would ideally like to enter the feature film and/or broadcast drama industry in some capacity, and have the ultimate goal of editing within the genre.
